Pop Up Vaccination Clinic in Cardinal

Booking is now available for a July 4th vaccination clinic at the Ingredion Centre in Cardinal, at 4050 Dishaw Street. This Health Unit clinic will use mRNA vaccines (either Pfizer or Moderna for adults 18+ depending on availability of the vaccine).

The Township offers swimming lessons and aquatic programs at our Cardinal and Johnstown community pools.

Weather permitting, the Cardinal and Johnstown pools are open for public swimming:

Despite the rain received this week, South Nation Conservation (SNC) has issued a Level I Low Water Condition for its entire watershed in Eastern Ontario.


Due to a drier than usual spring and the lack of precipitation, conditions in the South Nation River Watershed now meet the threshold for a Level I Low Water status under the Ontario Low Water Response Program.
